SRATE Journal - Call for Manuscripts

The SRATE Journal is a peer-reviewed publication of the Southeastern Regional Association of Teacher Educators. The mission of the SRATE Journal is dissemination of scholarship and research related to the profession of teaching with an emphasis on teacher preparation. The journal is published twice yearly using thematic and non-thematic formats. Volume 26(2) will be an open-themed edition. All manuscripts must be original, unpublished works.

Manuscripts Must Directly Support Teacher Preparation

Submission Requirements

Authors should use the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (6th edition). All text pages should be numbered. Please do not include a running head.


  Length manuscripts, including references, tables, charts, and figures should not exceed 15 pages.
  Word-Processing manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word, Times New Roman font, 12-point text, double-spaced, with one-inch margins. Tables, charts, and figures should be placed at the end of the manuscript and follow APA formatting guidelines.
  Cover Page title of manuscript, date of submission, author’s name, institutional affiliation and address, email address, statement that the manuscript is not under consideration nor has it been published, biographical information that identifies your title, your institutional affiliation and area(s) of research interest (30 words per author).
  Abstract concise 100-word, double-spaced narrative should be included at the beginning of the manuscript.
